Tour photos uploaded!

With all the fabulous photos taken by Pamela's partner Johannes in Melbourne and Geelong, we thought it would be best for us to create on-line photo albums so APC members can view them!

So, follow this link to the APC photos:

There's also a link in the sidebar.

DVD or CD copies of the photos will be available next year - stay tuned for details!

Message from Out Of The Blue

Today we received this message from Janette Green from Out Of The Blue:

"Dear Jonathon and others from APC,

Just one more thank you for the chance to join you in your Christmas concert on Sunday. The OOTBs had a great time and were amazed and delighted at how welcome you all made us feel. Thanks for all the build up - music, recordings, emails, etc, etc beforehand to make the day go so smoothly. I was quite overwhelmed at the flowers and trophy, they were completely unexpected - the flowers were an inspired choice and the trophy is superb!! Thanks.

Needless to say we're very jealous of you having such a wonderful director!! But we look forward to singing together again...

Best wishes and lots of Christmas cheer to you all,

Janette"

Message from the MD

I want to say a really BIIIG THANK YOU to everyone for a great concert on Sunday and for all your hard work during 2006. And of course, for coming to Bar Me on Monday night - the owners were very impressed and have invited APC back - saying "they are a very special group indeed!"

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. See you all back in February 2007!

Choir of Hard Knocks CD

As you know, Jonathon's been working with the Choir of Hard Knocks in Melbourne since September.

Their Christmas CD "From the Heart" is now available. The CD comes as a card complete with envelope, and is a perfect gift for mailing to loved ones this Christmas. The cost of a CD is $5 with 100% of profits going back to the Choir.

The songs on the CD are: Love is in the Air, Hallelujah, Silent Night and Freedom Train.

If you'd like to purchase 1 or 50, drop an email to Jonathon at his regular email address and he'll arrange for them to be posted to you - there will be an additional cost for postage, but he'll let you know how much.

Those of you who heard the CD the other week know how amazing it is - this CD will be a collector's item in the future so make sure you buy one for yourself!

Bar Me Update

Nadia's provided some more details about Bar Me for tonight:

The cabaret area of the venue is actually downstairs, so don't be concerned when you walk in and it looks like a regular pizza place. Drinks are available downstairs, but food needs to be ordered upstairs.

On Monday nights there's a limited menu available, with pizzas $2 less than indicated on the menu, and salads are available, but no regular mains.

Message from Jessica Dunn

Here's a message we had through the week from Poparazzi Soprano Jess Dunn:

Hi Jonathon & all of the Pop choir-ites,

Just wanted to apologise for seemingly disappearing without a trace! This term has been really hectic and other commitments kept popping up on Monday nights and unfortunately I got rostered on to work this Sunday!

Nevertheless, I checked out the blog, and the photos of Melbourne and Geelong were just FANTASTIC - good on you guys - keep it up, and good luck for the Christmas Concert on Sunday!!!

On a sad note, I won't be joining you again next year but I have a really good (exciting) reason - I am going to Indonesia for a year on exchange with uni! I'll be studying culture, language and creative subjects like batik, photography, and maybe some Indonesian performance arts!!

So, I hope you all have a great time at the concert, a very merry Christmas, and an awesome new year in 2007.

Looking forward to seeing you all in February 2008!!!

Love, Jess

Jess is going to be launching a travel blog so keep your eyes on this blog for the details when they come to hand.
